Barefoot Retreats are hosted by Crawf Weir and guest presenters. 

Suitable for all types of yoga enthusiasts, from the complete beginner to the seasoned pro.

With yoga and meditation classes both morning and evening, you will feel stretched, strengthened and grounded. 

There will be plenty of time to rest, relax and explore the local countryside.

Amazing vegetarian food straight from the garden, made with love by in-house chefs. 

As the word intimates, a retreat is a wonderful opportunity to step back from our daily lives to find a moment of rest, to get in touch with yourself and simply find inner peace.

Retreating is a way of taking time out and assessing our life decisions, 

helping us to bring clarity to the challenges ahead.​

Nestled high on 40 acres of native bushland and home to a wide variety of native birds and other wildlife, Vanam Retreat is a living, breathing oasis.  This specially built off-grid eco venue uses rainwater & solar power and grows its own fruits and vegetables for the most nourishing pasture to plate food.

The spacious, open-plan contemporary earth house brings the unspoilt beauty of the upper Blue Mountains inside and ancient natural building techniques to life. A true off-grid space -it is a unique experience to be held in the natural orchestra of nature.

Enjoy this peaceful haven from the large decks high amongst the trees or gentle bush trails meandering amongst the natural beauty, from the solar-powered outdoor spa nestled in the forest and, of course, the truly incredible shala space that looks out to the beautiful valley that surrounds us.
