Barefoot Retreats are hosted by Crawf Weir and guest presenters. 

Suitable for all types of yoga enthusiasts, from the complete beginner to the seasoned pro.

With yoga and meditation classes both morning and evening you will 

feel stretched, strengthened and grounded. 

There will be plenty of time to rest, relax and explore the local countryside.

Amazing vegetarian food straight from the garden, made with love by in-house chefs. 

As the word intimates, a retreat is a wonderful opportunity to step back from our daily lives to find a moment of rest, to get in touch with yourself and simply find inner peace.

Retreating is a way of taking time out and assessing our life decisions, 

helping us to bring clarity to the challenges ahead.

Rest, practice, explore, eat well and have fun.

Wybalena is a stunning 170 acre organic farm located in the Byron Bay Shire. We are available to host retreats, functions and special events. The natural beauty, serenity and privacy of our property make it ideally suited for yoga, meditation and wellness retreats.


We invite you to stay in our beautiful farm-style accommodation. We have a variety of different rooms, ranging from basic twin rooms to Scandinavian inspired, oak floored cabins and deluxe king bedrooms with ensuite and bath.

The main house and cabins have been carefully designed to make the most of the stunning views and tranquillity of the property.


Recently renovated! With smooth oak floors and beautiful views overlooking the private valleys of Wybalena the yoga hall is the perfect setting for groups to gather.


From the very first time you jump into a MagnaPool® you can feel the difference. The water has a gentle, silky feeling against your skin. There is little or no irritation to your eyes and your hair won’t need washing to get rid of that chlorine smell or sticky salt feeling associated with chlorine and saltwater pools.


The first thing most people notice is a stress-relieving relaxation of the muscles.  Tension melts away and the deep penetrating warmth is very soothing on aches and pains. Also felt is the benefit of a healthy cleansing sweat that purifies the body and improves circulation.  After the first session, most people notice clearer skin and more restful sleep. 


We encourage our guests to enjoy the various walking trails through the natural habitat of our farm. 

The trails are kept short for easy navigation and peace of mind. We have walks ranging from 10 to 40 minutes return.
